Damian Creamer is an education entrepreneur and technology leader dedicated to transforming how students learn and thrive in a rapidly changing world.
Leadership & Vision
Damian Creamer has spent his career asking a question most people in education avoid: why do we keep designing systems for the average learner when no such learner exists?
In 2001, he founded Primavera Online School with 35 students and a conviction that every child deserves a great education, not a standardized one. When existing technology failed to meet students’ needs, he built StrongMind to address the problem. Today, Primavera is the largest high school in Arizona, serving more than 26,000 students annually, and StrongMind has evolved from a curriculum provider into a next-generation learning platform supporting K–12 online schools and homeschool families nationwide.
At the core of that evolution is a philosophy Damian returns to constantly: education should serve the whole child, not just academic outcomes. Autonomy, competence, and connection aren’t soft ideals. They are essential psychological conditions for learning, and systems that ignore them produce disengagement, not outcomes.
Under his leadership, StrongMind is developing StrongMind Intelligence, a foundational AI layer that makes genuine personalization possible at scale. Not a chatbot. Not a GPT wrapper. An operating intelligence that tracks mastery over time, adapts instruction in real time, and routes the right support to every student, educator, and family at the right moment. His argument is clear: the winners in education won’t be the companies with the largest content libraries. They’ll be the ones who build the best learning systems.
Beyond product, Damian is known for building strong cultures rooted in trust, shared purpose, and the conviction that people do their best work when they genuinely care about what they’re building. He leads with vision and executes with discipline, protecting time for deep thinking, making high-stakes decisions before 2 p.m., and staying ruthlessly focused on the signal over the noise.
A graduate of Harvard Business School Executive Education (OPM), the Thunderbird School of Global Management (MBA), and Brigham Young University (BA), Damian is a frequent speaker and panelist on AI in education, digital learning transformation, and mission-driven leadership. He has received multiple Certificates of Congressional Recognition for his contributions to K–12 online learning, and was named iNACOL’s Outstanding Individual Contribution to K-12 Online Learning in 2012.
He lives in Arizona with his wife, Noelle, and their family.
“I see the world through the lens of signal versus noise. My job as a CEO is to eliminate as much noise as possible and spend my time where the signal actually is.”

Entrepreneurial Impact
Damian’s career has been defined by a commitment to building organizations that prioritize student outcomes while embracing innovation.
He previously founded Primavera Online School, which grew to become one of the largest high schools in Arizona. The school has served tens of thousands of students by offering flexible, accessible education options designed to meet diverse learning needs.
Today, through StrongMind, Damian continues to advance the future of education by developing research-based curriculum, AI-enhanced tools, and digital learning platforms that empower educators and engage students in meaningful ways.
Philosophy
At the core of Damian’s work is a simple principle: education must serve the whole child.
This means creating learning environments that support academic achievement while also nurturing curiosity, resilience, collaboration, and personal growth. Damian believes that when students are given autonomy, strong mentorship, and engaging learning experiences, they develop the confidence and skills necessary to succeed beyond the classroom.
His work continues to focus on building systems that support educators, inspire students, and create lasting impact across the education landscape.
Personal
Damian lives in Arizona with his wife, Noelle, and their family. Outside of his work in education, he values lifelong learning, reflection, and meaningful conversations about the future of technology and society.
These interests continue to shape his leadership philosophy and his commitment to improving educational opportunities for students everywhere.
